The journal “WOMEN IN POLITICS: NEW APPROACHES TO THE POLITICAL” welcomes new submissions, including articles, essays, commentaries, art and literary projects. All manuscripts are peer-reviewed.
Essays, articles, and commentaries:
Manuscripts should not exceed 3,000 words; footnotes should include all bibliographic information. Manuscripts can include illustrations; however it is an author’s responsibility to secure image copyrights.
Art and literary projects:
We are looking for socially and politically charged art and literary projects. Please include a brief project statement (up to 3 pages) where you explain goals, ideas, and/or difficulties related to the project. Ideally, it should help contextualize your art or literary piece within a themed issue of the journal and explain your artistic intentions to our readers. Please include footnotes if necessary.
Technical requirements: image size A5 (5.83” x 8.26”); vertical image layout; colour scheme CMYK; resolution 300dpi; requested file types jpeg, tiff or psd. In the case that an art-project features text, please make it accessible for editing.
Authors should include a short bio indicating their institutional or non-profit affiliation, research or activist interests, website, etc.
